35 Years of Devlin’s
On August 9th, 1990, my father, Chris Devlin, opened the doors to Devlin’s Country Bistro, a place where meals aren’t just eaten, they’re remembered. But our story began long before that. Three generations before him cared for this property and our community, building the walls, traditions, and spirit of hospitality that still welcome you today. Once a post office, butcher shop, and general store — now an award-winning restaurant and province-wide catering business.
I am proud to be the 5th generation of business operating in this same location, having purchased the bistro nearly 5 years ago. My father laid the foundation for “the bistro,” teaching me that great food is about more than recipes — it’s about people, moments, and connection. He believed, as I do, that we’re not in the middle of nowhere… we’re in the middle of everywhere. And in this “everywhere,” we’ve celebrated countless celebrations and ordinary days made extraordinary by the people gathered at the table.
My goal is simple: bring people together, serve the best food we can, help as many people as possible along the way, and make every day a celebration and every day a banquet.

THEN – Baked Brie with Roasted Garlic, Artichoke Strudel, Cajun Calamari, Lobster Poutine, Mixed Grill Trio, Smoked Chicken Penne, Peppercorn Crusted Striploin, Blackened Ribeye, Iberico Pork Chop, and our OG Surf & Turf — 5oz filet mignon, 4oz Canadian lobster tail, yams & seasonal vegetables.
NOW – Bang Bang Shrimp, Thai Green Curry Mussels, Pan-Seared Halibut, and Chicken Souvlaki.
ALWAYS – Seafood Linguine, Caesar Salad, Oysters Rockefeller, and Raw Oysters.
To our staff, past and present — thank you for your talent, hard work, patience and heart. To the generations before me — thank you for the foundation you built, both physical and emotional. And to our loyal guests and community — thank you for letting us be part of your stories.
